Our Skylight Shades offer convenience and quality when you need to cover out of the way skylights. Our skylight shades come complete with Side Channel and a fixed bottom rail. The shades are controlled by a handle mounted on the movable rail, allowing you to control the amount of light coming in. When your skylights are out of reach, you can opt for an adjustable extender pole for complete control of your shades. If you have skylights that are at least 15 inches wide and 12 inches high, our Skylight Shades are perfect! The Cellular construction of these shades provides you with many options in terms of fabric, texture and color. The unique construction process allows for greater insulation and sound absorption than similar shades offered by our competitors. These shades are a beautiful as they are functional, and you will be surprised at how durable they really are.

Accurate measurements are essential. Be sure to use a quality steel tape since cloth tapes or wood rulers are not dependable for precise measurements. Measure allwindows, even though they may appear to be identical. Thefactory will make the shade exactly the size ordered within tolerances of �1/8". Finished Dimensions:Inside Mount (Tight Measurement):Shade will measure ordered width less.....................3/8" Outside Mount (Finished Measurement): Shade will measure ordered width less.....................1/8" Side Mount (max width is 48"): Shade will measure ordered width less.....................1/8" Measure the exact width in three places (top, middle & bottom) and deduct 3/8" from the shortest width. Measurements include endcaps. Skylight and Specialty Blinds: Elite can manufacture a large number of specialty cellular shades ranging from skylight shades to a variety of custom shapes (see examples in the Specialty Shapes section). When measuring for these shades take all measurements carefully as the shade will be made to finished measurements. Include angles of inclination and templates where required. Elite will not be responsible for shades which may not fit the window, yet are of the ordered dimensions. Measure carefully!
